Captain John (Ivica) Benic writes:- Last winter we refitted the boat to make it look like a 19th century yacht, with 5 luxury en-suite cabins, and we rebuildt the hull from the deck level upwards. Importantly, the hull is the original made back in 1946 in oak. It is still UNTOUCHED because of the quality of the wood, prepared after felling in the forest by putting the trees into mud sea for a couple of years before cutting for the craftsman. Evan the cotton between the oak planks is still original, making this boat a real oldtimer.
